Group flexion and extension (synchronized flexion and extension of five fingers) is targeted at patients with weak hand muscular strength. It helps them control joint edema and muscle stiffness, amplifies hand and joint mobility, and prevents joint contracture.
Fine motor training is targeted at patients with certain hand mobility; it helps the hands complete different gestures and movements and strengthens the hands' capacity to complete fine actions with the help of several training modes.
"Central-peripheral-central" closed-loop active rehabilitation mood
It is a rehabilitation training mode in which the center and the peripheral nervous participate cooperatively to induce, enhance, and accelerate the control ability of the central opponent's function.
"The CPC closed-loop rehabilitation theory, proposed in 2016 (Jia, 2016), involves the assessment and therapy of central rehabilitation methods and peripheral procedures. This innovative rehabilitation model utilizes positive feedback to enhance brain plasticity and rehabilitation efficacy following brain injury in a bidirectional manner. Devices associated with this approach can combine input and output capabilities. Research has shown that the CPC closed-loop rehabilitation is more effective in managing post-stroke dysfunctions, such as motor impairment, compared to single central or peripheral therapy."
Multiple Training Modes
- Passive training: The rehabilitation glove can drive the affected hand to execute flexion and extension exercises.
- Assistance training: Built-in sensor recognizes the patient’s subtle motion signal and provides patients strength to complete the gripping motion
- Bilateral mirror training: The healthy hand is used to drive the affected hand to achieve grasping action. And the simultaneous visual effects and proprioceptive feedback(feeling and seeing the hand) are able to stimulate the patient’s neuroplasticity.
- Resistance training: SYREBO glove will give the patient an opposite force, and the patient needs to complete the flexion and extension exercises under resistance
- Game training: The traditional training content is combined with a variety of interesting games to allow patients to participate in the training more actively, thereby exercising ADL cognitive ability, hand strength control ability, attention, computing ability, etc.
- Refined training mode: Patients can perform the flexion and extension of a single finger, finger end-to-end pinch training in multiple training scenarios, such as passive training,action-library, bilateral mirror training, functional training, and game training.
- Strength and coordination training & evaluation: Patients can perform strength and coordination training and assessments. Data-based reports allow therapists to track patients' progress.
- Intelligent user management: A large number of user files can be established to record user training data, which is convenient for therapists to customize personalized rehabilitation programs.
